based on the sino-dutch inter-government transportation cooperation project, the sino-dutch asphalt pavement technical exchange conference was held on september 4, 2017 at the institute of highway research, beijing ministry of transport. experts and scholars from the rijkswaterstaat of the netherlands and the institute of highway research of the ministry of transport of china (rioh), as well as representatives of outstanding companies in asphalt pavement technology from both countries attended the ceremony. chen jijiang, general manager of our company, was invited to the conference. and made a report entitled “research on key technologies for low-noise anti-sliding super table technology”.
in 2014, china and the netherlands started cooperation on porous asphalt technology. 80% of the roads in the netherlands are paved with porous asphalt concrete (dutch zoab). the initial use of zoab is mainly to reduce noise, while china uses zoab to mainly solve the problem. water skiing and splashing problems during rainfall.
over the years, china and the netherlands have been studying different ways of preventive maintenance. the two sides are committed to working together to create "green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly" asphalt pavement technology. the low-noise, anti-slip, super-surface technology developed by our company has low traffic noise equivalent to sma13 structure; satisfies skid resistance, friction coefficient ≥ 55bpn; good sealing effect; seepage coefficient ≤ 30ml/min; retards reflective cracks; beautifies the road surface, quickly open traffic, 2~4h open traffic; service life 4~6 years; energy saving and environmental protection, green and low carbon, high cost performance.
the low-noise, anti-slip, super-surfacing technology, with its superior functionality and environmental protection, reflects good economic and social benefits, meets the development trend of highway preventive maintenance technology, and has received extensive attention from participating experts and scholars.
